Every syntactic element is a part of the whole, and interconnected and mutually dependent. In brief, Any expository prose written in English is the product of relationships.

2)As always the case, you see another guessing game. But it is too bland and off the mark. The translator translated the statement at issue {This turned into a defining battle.} as "퀵켄 도입은 나중에 논쟁을 유발했다." That is utterly wrong. His version can be conveyed to the effect that "the adoption of the Quicken software developed into a controversy." That is not the case.
3)The sentence at issue is related to the last sentence of the previous paragraph. In other words, the Google guys challenged Schmidt about the definition of a start-up and a serious corporation.
